I took these pictures of some orchids in my backyard in March 2002 with a Kodak DC4800. I thought the plant was dead. I put the pot (with a couple of dried sticks in it) outside by the pool to toss out. I forgot about it for a couple of weeks and I noticed some green. In a couple of months, these were the flowers that displayed themselves. The buds last about two months before falling off. The colors are untouched.
